Helping run the Open Door Cinema Club night in my hometown of Shrewsbury was one of the most proud things I have done. We wanted to try and get a younger crowd to come out and enjoy watching films on the big screen in a small English town. We were never competing with other cinemas, really it was always about competing against people's homes, so we tried to make every showing an event.
I got to create the identity and design system language for all the visuals of the club and would often then create some bespoke work for each event.
