Created during my time on the SVA Artist Residency, this was an interactive installation that invited people to draw what they believed my penis looked like.

Draw My Penis, 2024
My biggest fear was that this was perceived as a 'Its tough being a man' project, but it was born out of that curious relationship we have with nudity and even further, the size of our genitals (as men). I think English people especially have quite a bad relationship with nudity and also societally there is a lot of emphasis on size of penis as an understanding for other things.
"Oh he must have a big one", "I think this guy has a small dick" etc. etc. I'm not wanting to defend, merely I am curious as to the amount of weight put on this, so I gave people the opportunity to apply that to a largely random person like myself.
And you know it was good, because I took no real photos of it at all.
